To provide you with a better, more comprehensive charging experience adapted to different daily scenarios, every vivo smartphone comes equipped with two customizable charging modes: Fast Charging mode and Charging Balance mode.
When Fast Charging mode is activated on your vivo mobile, the device runs at higher charging power to deliver significantly faster charging speeds — ideal for when you need to quickly top up your battery before leaving home or during a short break.
Along with the faster speed, a more noticeable rise in device temperature during charging is a normal characteristic of this high-power mode.
When you disable the Fast Charging option on your vivo smartphone, the system switches to Charging Balance mode. Under high temperature conditions, the charging power will be intelligently adjusted to control heat buildup, reduce long-term battery wear, and maintain a more gentle charging curve.
Notably, even with Fast Charging mode turned off, your vivo mobile still supports Flash charge, so you will still get a faster charging experience than standard regular charging.
You can enable or disable the Fast charging option at any time by navigating to Settings > Battery > Battery health and charging on your vivo smartphone.
