The setting entry may differ slightly across different system versions of vivo mobile devices.
You can complete the setting through the following general path: Open Settings on your device, then enter the corresponding menu based on your interface display: Fingerprint, Face and password, Fingerprint and password, Security or Privacy. Next, go to Privacy and app encryption > Hide App, and turn on the toggle next to the target app to hide it.
Once an app is hidden, it will be fully restricted on your vivo mobile. It will not be displayed on the Home screen, Recent Apps interface, or system app lists, and will stop receiving new message notifications in the background.
After you open and use a hidden app, you can remove it from the Recent Apps interface, or use the Speed up function to restore the app to its hidden status.
Kindly Reminder: The Hide App feature is only available on vivo smartphones running FuntouchOS 9.0 or higher, and is not applicable to Dual Display edition devices.
